About Us

Ade and Lisa About Us Photo

Lets start at the beginning….  We are Lisa & Ade.  We got married in Florida in 2007.  When we planned to get married, we wanted the kids to be part of the occasion.  We didn’t want to get married and disappear on honeymoon.  I think it was Lisa looked at getting married abroad.    Lots of searching and the idea that Disney maybe a good place to go, she found somewhere for us to get married.  Little did we realise this was the first step of our adventure that we are still enjoying.

That was our ‘one time trip’ with no intention of thinking we would go back.  Well, move forward about 3 years and we visited Walt Disny World and Universal again.  and then again in 2012 and 2014.  We took a break from Disney in 2016 with our first US road trip.  New York, Washington DC and then onto Indiana where Lisa’s Dad lives.  Definitely got the Road trip bug!!

2017 was another Disney trip, and our first proper time spending time on site at Disney and our first experience of the Disney Dining Plan.  Don’t think I’ve eaten so much in 6 days!!

2018 we did another road trip starting in Chattanooga, then onto Savannah and then Orlando.  This was also the trip we became Disney Vacation Club members.  Was definitely not something we thought we would do, and such a big decision to make, but probably one of the best.

2019 was our California roadtrip with ‘Double Disney’.  Starting in San Fransisco, driving the Pacific Coast Highway all the way to Anaheim stopping on the way and also spending a few nights in Hollywood, where we also visitied Universal Studios Hollywood and then Anaheim to visit Disneyland.   Then a flight to Orlando to spend 7 nights staying at Bay Lake.

Unfortunately due to the Global Pandemic, we have not been abroad since our 2019 trip.  We have had multiple trips cancelled or moved over the last 16 or so months.  We are so looking forward to travelling again.

I think our love for travel and also planning our trips has grown over the years and just want to share some of that with you all…
